As Bishop Vincent prepares to step-down as our bishop after 30 years, we continue to keep him in our prayers and pray that the Holy Spirit will guide those tasked with choosing a successor:

“Loving Father,
we give you thanks for the ministry of Vincent
our Bishop.
He has indeed been a gentle shepherd who 
has encouraged us in word and deed.
We pray that in retirement he may continue 
to follow Your will,
and thereby find ever great fulfillment in 
Your peace.
We ask also that the Holy Spirit inspire 
those who are selecting his successor
to bless us with a gentle shepherd
who will continue to lead us in the ways of 
the Kingdom.
We make this prayer through Christ your 
Son. Amen.”
